Fencing Singapore - Referee Course

Course Synopsis
This referee course is co-organized by Absolute Fencing and Sportiva Fencing, and endorsed by Fencing Singapore. It will be conducted by International FIE Referee Instructors.
This comprehensive course includes:
Lectures: General and weapon-specific theory lessons delivered remotely via Zoom.
Theory Exam: Conducted remotely via Zoom. Includes: General and Weapon specific theory and video analysis.
* A single retest opportunity will be provided for candidates who do not pass the initial Theory Exam within 24h
Practical Assessment: In-person (face-to-face) assessment.
* Only for candidates who successfully pass the theory exam
Certification:
Upon successful completion of both the Theory Exam (including any retest) and the Practical Assessment, candidates will be certified as FS Probational (P) Referees.
This course is open to:
New beginner referees
Referees looking for a refresher or updates on current rules and practices
Past referees who want to re-pursue their certification
* Participants must be at least 13 years old. The exam requires participants to be at least 15 years old.
